About the Event
Once upon a time, there was a feisty group of queer adults who wanted to help their younger counterparts. They knew that the youth were struggling, and they wanted to bring the youth joy and uplift them, while empowering them to find their own joy and take care of themselves, as well. They came together and created Q Plus, a magical organization helmed by its fierce and determined founder. This organization created spaces for LGBTQ+ youth across the state of Connecticut, providing Open Mics, dances, educational summits, and above all, regularly scheduled programming in a number of towns. Q Plus now hosts over 30 of these last types of programs per month.
